Which earned us this achievement!
Which I feel like we should have unlocked sooner? But I think they only count the reward traits. Which is weird.
(Never mind the Happy Toddler trait. This is what happens when you use a sim from a previous challenge)
I’m pretty sure there’s an achievement about completing 5 or more aspirations with a single sim, so Octavia gets changed to a really easy one
So we started a club! Pierce got invited solely because his name is Pierce. And we had to have Judy! The requirements for this club was level 2 gardening, which apparently Judy has!

We went camping! We have some seeds to find that are in season so we headed off to Granite Falls

We ended the vacation since we gathered all the plants we needed to and then headed off to Henford-on-Bagley. We still need some CoL mushrooms.
And we’re still waiting for the Nightly Mushrooms to appear. But annoyingly those are only in season in the WINTER.
Got back home and it’s still raining.
It’s like we never left lol
Growing together has given me more insight to how often my sims are FUNNY with each other. I honestly had no idea
We literally only have one more plant from OR to identify and it’s taking us HOURS.
We did finally get it. We also got to level 5 of the herbalism skill JUST BY trying to identify the damn mushroom.
For reference: We started with no herbalism skill at all

Well hello! And welcome back to my DITFT challenge! We jump right in at 4am Sunday morning and everyone is just doing *things*
Octavia starts the day off right by finally planting the cowplant berry we were finally able to get through grafting
And once this grows she’ll have finished her aspiration! Woohoo!
Next thing to do was get the kiddos on their homework. And it was a whole family affair!

As promised at the end of last chapter, we did a garden overhaul. I deleted duplicates of plants and then organized them in the same way they are listed in the collection so that it’s easy to identify which plants we need yet.
This is much more manageable lol
While waiting for the cowplant to grow Octavia continued to work on the fishing aspiration and finally maxed the fishing skill, which completed that aspiration! So achievement unlocked! Woohoo!
After that, we continued installing upgrade on the rocket. We have one more alien plant to find and it’s currently in season.
Bills came…
Which left us with $51. Maybe I should have held off on changing the garden lol
I’ve noticed that all of our Yamachans tend to have relationship problems.

Monday afternoon brings around projects
Weirdly, Noah’s finished immediately. I’ve never had that before
Well I don’t know either of you. So sure! Go for it!
Our cowplant grew! So that officially completes the main goals for Octavia! And the only extra goal is to plant one of every harvestable.
Which we’re still working on
We earned enough Satisfaction Points to buy the money tree! Which is one that we needed for our collection!
Axel came home from school with Noah.

And apparently Noah hasn’t been to active school either so he didn’t have a locker when we got here. So it’s pretty terrible timing for both Noah and Mason to go to high school for the first time on a Friday… “Happy first day of active school! Have some exams!”

With a money tree on the property now, we can afford to guy some rare seed packets. It was with them that we were able to get some growfruits! So we planted a bunch of those for fertilizer!

Okay so I have never once completed the gardening collection, so I’ve never had a reason to have trash plants. I didn’t realize that they actually bring down the environment AND CAUSE MY SIMS TO GET UNCOMFORTABLE. So we went down to one and moved it off to the side of the house so that it doesn’t disturb my sims’ gardening anymore lol

Hello hello hello! We’re back with another DITFT update! We start out this Sunday with a stormy morning. So everyone is scared/tense/sad because of that.
Except Mason. Who just a baby and has no emotions at all. You know, as babies do.
Well, the rules that I’m following say that I need at least one boy and one girl. So since we do not have a girl yet, we’re back at it.
*cross your fingers*
Well, we’ve got a bun in the oven! Hopefully it’s a girl bun.
Octavia has the waterproof trait, so she gets to garden in this wonderful summer storm lol
So we have some “special” plants in the house. These will be our grafting plants for whenever we get to that lol
Veer takes good care of Mason while Octavia tends the garden(s)
Noah gets comfort from Blarffy during the storm.
Bills came. And we were JUST able to afford them lol
Thank da lort that our garden was profitable today. What with it being a new season and all.
Mason aged up! We’ve got TWO toddlers now… Oh goodness.
So we had to rearrange the toddler room to fit another bed in lol

Grafting this plant completed Octavia’s aspiration milestone! Woohoo! We’re making progress!
One of our optional goals is to plant one of each harvestable, which means trash fruit! So I have a pile off garbage barricaded off so that they don’t “accidentally” throw it away lol
Side note: I had to add higher walls because they could still throw it away with the lower half walls lol

When we get to the hospital, Veer takes a moment to help them clean their work spaces lol
If you read the rest of the challenges that are part of my Achievement Challenge, you’ll know that I’ve become obsessed with keeping track of the ghosts in my hospital.

Okay, well since we ended up with twins I had to change the layout of the second story to make room for another bed and bath. So here we are with a really funky layout bahahaha

Oh my god. It took Veer FOREVER to actually clean this kid. He started and quit the bath sequence like 3 times.
We started this aspiration I think on wednesday evening. It’s now Friday morning and we’re already almost done with it.
I feel like this is easier then the last time I did it? *does research*
I WAS RIGHT! The aspiration didn’t use to include fish from expansions in the “collect 20 types of fish” part. But now it does since 5 of my 19 types are expansion fish.
NO WONDER THIS IS GOING FASTER!
Too bad that didn’t exist when I did it in my Drifter save…

Since there isn’t space for a third toddler bed, we bought a chair for the left out kiddo lol. Who at this moment is Grant

After some “strategy” planning of our garden, we began the arduous task of planting all the new stuff.

And since there are plants that are only available in SPACE, we need a rocket.

8am Sunday comes around and we have both Veer and Octavia still planting the new stuff.
They’re not going to be doing this when we reload this family next time, so I need to remember to have them continue when I come back to them.

Hello! And welcome to my Differences in the Family Tree challenge. I’ve never played one of these before, but I’ve always wanted too! So here we are!
Here’s our founder, Octavia Pierce! You might recognize her from my Baby Boom challenge! She was girl #4 and now she’s moved up in the world to start her very own challenge!
She’s been moved into a smallish lot in Brindelton Bay.
We ended up building a small house and giving it some very sparse furnishing. As you can see the inside is pretty bare

We got a start on our garden.

One of the goals for this generation is to complete the freelance botanist aspiration, so gardening it is.
So, we can only earn money from gardening, fishing, or beekeeping. So no jobs for Octavia! Which means, we’re going to need lots of seasonal plants…
Took some time to visit some libraries in search of some young adult men. The one downfall to playing rotation like this with aging on for the NPCs is that I either take all the available spouses in my other challenges or MCCC snatches them away lol
But we did meet this guy! I like him. Sort of lol
So we needed to go home, and we invited the librarian with us and it cracked me up that he put a bag on his head! lol
Just so you all know, here’s the NAPs that we’re currently working with. The only thing that would make this better was if Roughhousing Encouraged and Sharing is Caring was one of them. But not really. I hate those lol
The bag is really throwing me off. His bag is a sad face, but yet we’re having a very steamy exchange lol
